President’s Statement on the Tragic Events in Atlanta and Boulder

Statement by Dr. Carrie Besnette Hauser, President & CEO, Colorado Mountain College

The sad news about recent shootings in Atlanta and Boulder has affected us all deeply. On behalf of the entire Colorado Mountain College community, we grieve alongside the victims, their families and these communities. And, we stand firmly with those responding to and wrestling with the actions leading to these terrible events.

Collectively, we simply must get our arms around these tragedies which have become all too common.  CMC will continue to prioritize and create the conditions that lead to opportunity and hope for everyone.
