Gallery Talk at CMC Aspen: Meet the Artnauts
The Colorado Mountain College Aspen Campus and Gallery will host a special gallery talk on January 27 in conjunction with the Spring Exhibition Artnauts: Global Rhizome from the Archive. The event begins at 5:30 pm and offers an opportunity to hear directly from the artists behind the exhibition.
During the gallery talk, members of Artnauts will discuss who they are, what they do, and why their work matters. Known for their collaborative, interdisciplinary approach, Artnauts explore themes of global connection, shared histories, and cultural exchange. The conversation will provide insight into the ideas, processes, and archives that shape the exhibition, inviting audiences to engage more deeply with the work on view.
Artnauts: Global Rhizome from the Archive is on display at the CMC Aspen Campus Gallery from January 12 through May 15, 2026. The exhibition draws from archival materials and artistic practices to examine how ideas, people, and cultures intersect across time and geography, much like a rhizome—an interconnected system with no single point of origin.
The gallery talk is free and open to the public and will be followed by informal conversation in the gallery space.
A public reception for the exhibition will take place later this spring on Wednesday, April 22, from 4–7 pm, with artist talks beginning at 5:30 pm.
