Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences
Designed for students passionate about biology and improving community health, our new Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences offers a direct and affordable path to careers in medicine, laboratory science, public health, and beyond. With a curriculum grounded in molecular biology, genetics, physiology, and biochemistry, this program blends classroom knowledge with real-world experience through labs, research projects, and local internships. You’ll graduate prepared for graduate or professional school and careers that make a difference—especially in Colorado’s rural and mountain regions.

Associate of Science with an Emphasis in Biology
For students planning to transfer to a four-year institution or those preparing to enter a health-related program, the Associate of Science with an emphasis in biology provides a solid academic foundation in the biological sciences. This two-year degree includes general education and introductory science courses that align with common bachelor’s degree requirements, and it positions students for a smooth transfer to CMC’s BS program or to another institution.
