You’re a creator. A storyteller. You want to expand upon your existing skills in content creation and design to become a well-rounded media practitioner who can bring it all together in a cohesive communication and marketing strategy. The Bachelor of Applied Science in Integrated Media is a degree designed for today’s workforce. 

Employers seek people who are proficient in digital media production, social media marketing, and content creation, and able to integrate it across multiple disciplines and media platforms. At CMC, expert faculty will work alongside you to provide hands-on learning with top-tier facilities and equipment at our Isaacson School for Communication, Arts and Media. 

You’ll prepare to join the modern media landscape in three areas of focus – content creation, communication, and marketing - developing a mastery of the digital communication skills necessary for success in today’s digital culture. 

Focus on your particular interest area

Students can choose to pursue one of the following areas:  

  • Action Sports Industry
  • Digital Media
  • Graphic Design
  • Professional Photography
  • Ski & Snowboard Business
  • Theatre and Event Production

In addition to the bachelor’s degree, students will earn an associate of applied science degree or certificate of occupational proficiency in their area of interest — a built-in bonus.

You’ll expand your capabilities and employability as you continue to hone your craft.  From marketing campaigns and social media storytelling to bringing design to life in our state-of-the-art prototype labs and media production studios, students will have the opportunity to learn in a hands-on environment and graduate a well-rounded professional.  

Enriched by the Isaacson School for Communication, Arts & Media

As part of the Isaacson School for Communication, Arts and Media at Colorado Mountain College, you’ll work collaboratively with the Professional Photography, Digital Media and Graphic Design programs. This provides real-world learning as you work within creative teams.  

Here you’ll have ready access to community partnerships and a wide range of events. These opportunities include the ESPN XGAMES, Aspen Film, and the Aspen Institute to name a few. These experiences create strong resumés and career connections.

Walter Isaacson, a noted author, former CEO of CNN and The Aspen Institute, and managing editor of TIME Magazine, helped found the Isaacson School for Communication, Arts & Media at Colorado Mountain College in 2012 to give students the opportunity to explore the intersection of art and technology.
