Upon completing the ◆ Mathematics Emphasis (AS) program, CMC students will be able to:
- Explain information presented in mathematical forms (e.g. equations, graphs, diagrams, tables, words).
- Convert information into and between various mathematical forms (e.g. equations, graphs, diagrams, tables, words).
- Solve problems or equations at the appropriate course level.
- Use appropriate mathematical notation.
A strong foundation in mathematics opens the door to a wide range of career opportunities across industries. Math graduates are valued for their ability to analyze data, model complex systems, and solve real-world problems using logic and quantitative reasoning.
