Program Learning Outcomes are what we expect each student will learn while earning a degree or certificate. Meeting these learning outcomes is how we assess our performance as a college. Our learning outcomes support both important career skills and future success as a student.
Upon completing the Nursing (RN-BSN) program, CMC students will be able to:
- Synthesize professional nursing knowledge and leadership while providing quality, safe, person-centered care using clinical judgement.
- Incorporate effective communication and professionalism with interprofessional partnerships in a systems-based practice.
- Integrate nursing practices and healthcare policies that influence healthcare systems and population health.
- Develop interpersonal communication and collaboration of the entire interdisciplinary team for improving patient health outcomes.
- Apply the concepts of integrity, dignity, diversity, equity, inclusion, ethics, and social justice in professional nursing practice.
- Utilize technology to communicate, integrate data, mitigate errors, increase sustainability, and support decisions for safe, quality care.
