Curriculum for Ski Area Operations (AAS)

Program Learning Outcomes are what we expect each student will learn while earning a degree or certificate. Meeting these learning outcomes is how we assess our performance as a college. Our learning outcomes support both important career skills and future success as a student.

Upon completing the Ski Area Operations (AAS) program, CMC students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate professional collaboration and teamwork.
2. Successfully perform defined operational tasks and technical skills associated with mountain operations.
3. Demonstrate effective communication skills, with emphasis on professional radio communication.
4. Demonstrate professionalism as appropriate to the ski industry.
5. Identify and manage risk associated with mountain operations.
