Hill Hall at CMC Steamboat Springs

Life in Hill Hall has a lot to offer. You’ll have access to campus support and services while remaining within walking distance of Steamboat Spring’s diverse cultural and outdoor offerings.

Among the amenities we offer are free campus parking, convenient and healthy dining plan options, on-campus disc golf course, and a fitness center. You’ll also have convenient access to free academic tutoring, an on campus library, and other support services.

The free Steamboat Springs Yellow Line shuttle operates on demand at the college and goes to both ends of town, including the Steamboat Ski Resort. Call 970-833-4438 or download the Yellow Zone app to request on-demand rides. Living on campus helps you become an active member of the CMC community and keeps you in the loop about student organizations and great campus events such as hot springs nights, snowmobiling, evening programming and more.

You’ll be close to ski areas, wilderness, and the incredible mountain biking, backpacking and skiing available near Steamboat Springs.

CMC Residence Hall Amenities

Room and Roommate Assignments

Placements are awarded based on application complete date. It is not uncommon for the Steamboat Campus to utilize a waitlist, as we often get a high number of applications for the academic year. Most residents will be placed in a double occupancy room. For the spring semester, your room number and your roommate’s contact information will be sent to your CMC email address in early January.

For students requesting a single room, there is an additional charge of $1575 for the semester. Single rooms are extremely limited and will be confirmed early January based on building occupancy. See Housing Costs.

If a single room is not available, CMC will match you with a roommate and your roommate’s contact information will be sent to your CMC email address in early January.

Move-in Dates Spring 2025

New students will move-in on Wednesday, January 8 from 1-4pm.

Returning residents may return to the residence hall on Friday, January 10 after 12pm.

More information about the move-in process will go to your CMC email address in December-January.
