The Ayuda Fund is an emergency fund that helps students pay for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Including, but not limited to, food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, employment readiness, and child-care expenses.
- Have not previously received an award from the CARES Act/HEERF Grant.
- Enrolled in a credit bearing program OR a student in ESL/HSE program during CMC Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 semesters
- Demonstrate financial need, including financial challenges or hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Meet classification for in-state (or in-district) resident for tuition purposes pursuant to CRS title 23 section 7.

About the Ayuda Fund
The Ayuda Fund is made possible by the Colorado Department of Higher Education with funds received from the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund.
The Ayuda Fund will prioritize eligible students who did not receive the HEERF grant to support short term COVID-19 relief efforts.
