Colter Christensen

I grew up in Wyoming, in a small rural town like Leadville. I was the odd kid because I was always trying to make money to snowboard and spent my weekends snowboarding. I went to college at the University of Utah where I majored in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. I spent about ten years working with teens at a residential treatment center, managing the outdoor experiential education program. I went back to school and received a Masters in Educational Studies and started working at CMC with the TRIO Upward Bound Program. I am very excited to transition into the Admission and Enrollment representative position at CMC. I like working with students and helping them achieve their goals. Both my wife and I are from small rural communities and our first day in Leadville, we knew it was home When not working, my wife and I mountain bike, raft, and ski and snowboard any chance we can get, usually with our two crazy labs Meeko and Murphy.

I work with students, helping them complete their application, finishing their enrollment checklists and recruit students for our great programs here in Leadville.

About Leadville

I am absolutely smitten with Leadville. It is a wonderful community to live in. If you want to ski, mountain bike, raft, hike, everything is right out your door. There are ways to volunteer within the community and it is a great place to live and work.
