sforster3@coloradomtn.edu | I like being able to help students grasp the intricacies of English Writing in any class, including recognizing an author’s tone and intent. Nothing makes me happier than students improving their grades with encouragement from the Learning Lab. For recreation I enjoy Scuba diving all around the world. I once entered a wreck in the Florida Keys, which had shifted since my last visit, and I found myself trapped under the hull. I had to remove all my scuba gear and make an emergency ascent to the surface. dmeese@coloradomtn.edu | I love doing research and field work, being able to travel all over the world, discovering new things about the Earth that no one else has discovered and publishing those discoveries is amazing. After growing up near Colorado Springs, I earned a PhD in physics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. I worked on two NASA-affiliated space missions, but felt a much stronger affinity for teaching than for research science. I left research science to teach college astronomy and physics on Colorado's Front Range, where I completed a graduate certificate in mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado. Today, I enjoy living on the Western Slope and offering my expertise and experience to Colorado Mountain College students in both virtual and in-person tutoring sessions. | https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/VirtualTutoringLindsayRocks@coloradomtn.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/ | Math Helps,Algebraic Literacy Lab Quantitative Literacy Algebraic LiteracyCalculus II Calculus III Calculus III/Engineer App Differential Equations Dffrntl Equations Linear Algbr Algebra Lab Career Math Coreq for Math for Liberal Art Coreq for College Algebra Coreq for Intro to Statistics Math for Liberal Arts College Algebra College Trigonometry Survey of Calculus Introduction to Statistics Integrated Math I Integrated Math II Pre-Calculus Mat 121 Support Support for College Algebra Support for Mat Lib Calculus IPlanetary Astronomy With Lab Stellar Astronomy With Lab

Tue 1:00pm-3:00pm Make an Appointment |
mjwalker@coloradomtn.edu | I have lived in the Yampa Valley for over a decade, raising my family, going to school, working, and adventuring. I know what it means to juggle life and work hard. I first walked through the doors of CMC when my son was just a couple of months old. Since then, I've earned an AA in Outdoor Education and a BA in Sustainability Studies from CMC, and then a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) with a focus on Building Sustainable and Resilient Communities from Western Colorado University. CMC has played an important role in my journey and helped me to discover my passion for education and community. I have taught all ages in both formal and informal settings, focusing on science-based experiential education. I enjoy helping others find meaningful connection to what matters to them, and I hope to help you find connection through your coursework! | https://cmc.webex.com/meet/mjwalker94 | https://coloradomtn-edu.zoom.us/j/3595850014 | https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/VirtualTutoringMeganWalker@coloradomtn.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/ | Biology, Sustainability

What Do Students Say About Tutoring?
When I was diagnosed with perceptual communication disorder it destroyed my confidence in my academic ability. Thankfully, the tutors at CMC helped instill confidence in me and my ability to grasp concepts that I had previously found perplexing or impossible. Not only has tutoring boosted my confidence, but it has also enabled me to excel as a student and maintain a 4.0 GPA!
