Breckenridge and Dillon Campuses

As the part time Disabilities Services Coordinator for the Summit Campus, I support students with disabilities in Dillon and Breckenridge. Whether students are new to college, returning after a hiatus, or transferring into CMC, I am happy to help students acquire the necessary documentation of their disability and develop accommodations to help students be successful in college.

I graduated from Saint Louis University with my bachelor’s in Education with a focus on Special Education and hold a Colorado K-12 teaching certificate in several areas. I have a master’s in Writing from Regis University. I began at CMC as a student, taking Avalanche and Spanish courses out of interest, and moved on to become a writing tutor during my master’s program. Then I taught ESL, GED, and Comp I&II at CMC before becoming the Disabilities Services Coordinator. I published a book called Between Families, the first in a series, and launched the book through CMC’s Speaker Series. I love reading, writing, skiing, running, and playing soccer.

I encourage students to contact me before they begin classes each semester if they need accommodations or other supports to be successful. We can discuss their concerns, determine their eligibility for accommodations based upon the documentation they provide, and get these supports in place early in the semester.
