Days of the week: Monday-Sunday, Flexible

Main Job Functions:

Assist in care of animals and facilities at Vet Tech Weekend, some holiday, and some weekday feeding of animals

Job Duties:

Cleaning/maintenance of all animal enclosures, Stocking of animal feed including heavy bags and bales of hay, some grounds keeping, grooming and cleaning of animals, misc. seasonal duties, and various other duties as assigned. May be required to work outside, regardless of weather conditions.

Working Conditions:

This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Available weekends and holidays. Knowledge of large animals is preferred, but not required
