Main Job Functions:
Monitor students from ART classes working outside of class in the lab. Check out tools and equipment to students. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the art studio.
Job Duties:
Monitor scheduled studio times for ART students. The monitor must be reliable and on time for the shifts. The monitor is responsible for checking on students working during studio times. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the art studio. The monitor will be given tasks to organize and reorganize cabinets, tools, and supplies. The monitor is responsible for assigned cleaning tasks and general upkeep of the art studio.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally.
