Main Job Functions:
The Campus Store Clerk under the supervision of the Student Affairs Coordinator supports daily Operations and goals in the Campus Store. Primary duties are related to LMP operations to receive textbook order shipments and place on shelves, hand out and deliver textbooks, process textbook returns, assist with inventory and assigned tasks. The role offers flexible but defined scheduled hours.
Job Duties:
Helps with retail tasks and cash handling; answering questions and initial troubleshooting; interacts in a friendly, helpful, professional manner with students, staff, community, and faculty in a sometimes busy, noisy environment. Will assist and support the LMP to receive textbook order shipments and place them on shelves, process textbook returns, assist with inventory, and assigned tasks.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. College-level reading, writing and communication. requires standing and lifting of textbooks and related inventory items; friendly and professional demeanor and ability to interact in a team environment. Ability to work independently at a high level of integrity to support Campus Store functions.
