Main Job Functions:

The HMS Assistant will help with all general operations and clerical work of the associate professor. They will also assist with the planning and execution of projects and meeting preparation.

Job Duties:

Assist with filing documents. Assist with preparations for meetings. Creates new files including dad entry/document creation.

Working Conditions:

This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:

Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Courteous manners with the public. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially with Outlook, Word and Excel. Good organizational and time management skills- able to work on multiple projects at a time.
