Main Job Functions:
The prospective student will work alongside full time IT staff regularly and should have a basic understanding of computers running Windows and MacOS as well as mobile devices using iOS and Android. Duties include troubleshooting via the phone with customers regarding general CMC inquiries, logging IT issues using the ticketing system and assisting staff as part of a support team. Other duties: email correspondence, chat messaging, texting, A/V troubleshooting, data entry and other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:
Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily. Necessary skills include adequate written and oral communication and the ability to reason, analyze and perform calculations. The candidate should possess customer service skills, a desire to learn and patience while helping others. Requirements include the ability to work in a location with a stable internet connection as well as talk on the phone regularly with limited distractions. Prior technical skills help but are not a requisite.
