Main Job Functions:
The Marketing Student Assistant will obtain and create assets for CMC Aspen, Basalt, and Carbondale to create brand awareness, support enrollment, and aid in community outreach.
Job Duties:
1. Take photos of CMC Aspen/Basalt/Carbondale events and submit them for social media usage. 2. Take part in community outreach/flyer distribution by attending events such as Carbondale First Fridays to meet and greet community members and talk about CMC programming and post flyers around the RF Valley.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:
Understanding and appreciation of social media such as Instagram and Facebook, valid driver's license to get to events/venues, understanding of CMC Aspen/Basalt/Carbondale campuses and their offerings, and ability to communicate CMC details to community members and prospective students.
