Main Job Functions:
The Nursing Department at the Spring Valley campus is seeking one to two work-study students to support the setup and breakdown of nursing simulations, assist with lab preparation, and help maintain organization and inventory within the Nursing Simulation and Skills Lab spaces.
Job Duties:
Simulation and Lab Organization – Support the maintenance and organization of simulation and skills lab spaces, including storage areas. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment is properly stored, setting up simulations, assisting with setting up the lab, and basic technical support as needed.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:
Eligibility is limited to students who are not currently enrolled in the prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Colorado Mountain College. Ideal candidates will have strong computer and technology skills, excellent organization and attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
