Main Job Functions:
Supports instructors in the issuing and de-issuing of equipment for OUT courses. Support the facilitation and monitoring of the Climax building including the climbing wall, workout room, gear checkout room.
Job Duties:
Greats visitors, inquires on the nature of their business and directs them to the appropriate person. Repairs and maintains equipment as necessary. Rents equipment to students (checks ID, maintains appropriate paperwork, contacts late returners). Monitors climbing wall safety and demonstrates climbing techniques.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally.
