Days of the week: Monday-Thursday
Main Job Functions:
Work with the dean to run reports, sort data, order texts for courses, prepare for meetings, and survey students. 10 - 15 hours per week, flexible hours.
Job Duties:
The student works with the dean and the program directors/chairs to identify reports and research to help improve services for students. The student will assist in ordering materials, reviewing scheduling processes, and surveying students on needs and areas of growth for the school. The location is Central Services but some work may be able to be completed virtually.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:
Some use of Excel is preferable. Organizational skills are desirable. Able to complete tasks independently. Good phone and virtual skills along with clear communication are important.
