Days of the week: Monday-Friday
Main Job Functions:
Primary role is answering incoming calls to the college and facilitating connecting the caller to the appropriate campus and/or department. Supporting other student affairs’ related tasks.
Job Duties:
Answering incoming calls and returning calls, in both a professional and courteous manner. Other office duties as needed and assigned.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:
Customer service and communication skills required. Willingness to assist with needed clerical tasks, such as phone calls, updating spreadsheets, and communicating with other students and staff.
