Main Job Functions:

Aids the Student Life Office with planning, hosting, setting up, and tearing down/cleaning up events; learn transferable skills in event planning, time management, student engagement, and more.

Job Duties:

Plan, organize, and execute student life events; assist the pro-staff with event planning, set up/clean up, and execution; facilitate the updating of flyers and other materials around campus; maintain, organize, and clean the Student Life storage spaces.

Working Conditions:

This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a CMC student (preferably enrolled in 6 credit hours or more), experience planning and executing events preferred but not required.
