Main Job Functions:
Assist with sustainability and sustainability education projects at CMC.
Job Duties:
Assist with campus sustainability projects in areas such as composting, recycling, and permaculture. Assist with organizing, promoting, and managing Sustainability Studies and related student club events. Assist with other program development and management duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; good organizational and time management skills; punctuality, reliability, and courteous manners; ability to represent CMC proudly and with honor and enthusiasm; basic computer skills (e-mail, word processing).
