Time of Day: Afternoons, Evenings, and Flexible

Days of the week: Flexible

Main Job Functions:

Assist Technical Director on some level of building scenery, scenic painting, hanging and focusing lights, sound engineering, props building and gathering, and/or costume building and gathering based on ability.

Job Duties:

Assists in scenic construction. Assists with organizing and keeping work spaces clean. Assists with procuring props and costumes. Assists in painting scenery.

Working Conditions:

This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:

Courteous manners with the public. An understanding or the interest to learn graphics programming on the computer (Indesign, MS Publisher.) Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
