Main Job Functions:

The main functions of this position are to support peers that request low level advising support through Together All. Training will be required and we are looking for students that have two years remaining at CMC.

Job Duties:

Training will be required in September/October through Together All, CMC's new virtual counseling platform, and you will receive a certificate for this training. This position will monitor and support low level concerns that are requested through the platform, with the support of licensed counselors. It is a fabulous opportunity for those interested in psychology or counseling.

Working Conditions:

This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Communication skills through phone or virtually, second year at CMC with a preference for 2 years remaining at CMC, dependability for work shifts, compassion and empathy for peers.
