Main Job Functions:
The TRIO SSS Office Ambassador supports the Steamboat CMC TRIO Success Center by creating a welcoming environment for current and incoming participants. Key duties include managing the food pantry and leftover meal program, assisting with Success Center operations, supporting marketing and student communications, and helping with program planning. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Greet and assist current and incoming TRIO participants, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. • Keeping the office, kitchen, and food pantry clean and organized. • Manage the TRIO Food Pantry and Leftover Meal Program, including inventory tracking and distribution
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:
• Friendly, welcoming, and able to work well with a diverse student population. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, and data entry. • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. • Willingness to learn about TRIO SSS services and resources. • Spanish speakers preferred to better serve our student community.
