Main Job Functions:
The TRIO SSS Office Ambassador position is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive environment at the Steamboat CMC TRIO Success Center program for all current and incoming TRIO participants.
Job Duties:
Key Duties & Responsibilities Greet and assist current and incoming TRIO participants, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Manage the TRIO Food Pantry and Leftover Meal Program, including inventory tracking and distribution. Support daily Success Center operations, including workspace organization and upkeep. Assist with marketing and student communications, including flyers, social media, and outreach messages.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:
Friendly, welcoming, and able to work well with a diverse student population. Strong organizational and time management skills. Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, and data entry. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
