Main Job Functions:

The TRIO SSS Office Ambassador position is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive environment at the Steamboat CMC TRIO Success Center program for all current and incoming TRIO participants.

Job Duties:

The position will provide a variety of clerical, technical, and student support services duties. Assisting with office administrative duties as assigned; greeting visors, inquiring about the nature of their business, and directing them to the appropriate person; creating flyers for TRIO programs; filing; assisting with research; developing and planning programs and social events for TRIO students; creating inviting messages and artwork.

Working Conditions:

This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, supporting an office environment that strives to be inclusive, warm, and welcoming, and other general office duties as assigned. Good organizational and time management skills.
