Main Job Functions:
Tables and provides information about TRIO SSS; recruits new TRIO SSS participants, encourages TRIO SSS students to participate in collaborative learning community. Makes copies, scans documents, general office duties. Assists with classroom presentations, manages bulletin boards and display boards, creates TRIO SSS student videos, completes training on being a peer tutor, tutors TRIO SSS students (if qualified), completes a variety of online assessments and trainings designed to improve study skills and/or mental wellness.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. Be polite and reliable. Possess good organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
