Main Job Functions:
Promote and represent TRIO SSS to CMC students. Recruit new enrollees; engage TRIO SSS students in the program. Flyers, workshops, record keeping, assisting students.
Job Duties:
Tabling and providing information about TRIO SSS; encouraging TRIO SSS students to participate in a collaborative academic learning community with Peer Academic Coaches. Making copies, scanning documents, general office filing, and duties. Assisting with classroom presentations, creating flyers for events, managing bulletin boards and display boards, TRIO SSS videos, and other as needed.
Working Conditions:
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. Be polite and reliable. Possess good organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
