Main Job Functions:

Working within a continuously supervised program environment, the Youth Enrichment Leader implements pre-designed curriculum and provides structured enrichment and supervision for children ages 3 through 17 while parents participate in adult education classes. The program operates with on-site oversight provided by Colorado Mountain College staff, who remain present and available for support, guidance, and program direction throughout all sessions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Implement pre-developed curriculum and structured activity plans as assigned. Provide age-appropriate enrichment activities and supervised engagement opportunities for children ages 3 through 17. Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants. Supervise participants during program activities in accordance with established program guidelines and procedures. Support children's participation in educational, recreational, and enrichment experiences. Communicate participant needs, concerns, or incidents to supervising CMC staff in a timely manner. Assist with program setup, cleanup, and organization of materials and supplies. Follow all college policies and procedures related to youth programs and participant safety. Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the program.

Working Conditions:

This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally.
