The Promise of Spring Valley
Designed for the long view
From its inception, Colorado Mountain College was created to serve the communities within its district. More than 50 years ago, local ranchers donated over 800 acres to create the CMC Spring Valley campus.
Overlooking the picturesque Roaring Fork Valley, this campus has been a hub for residential and commuter students alike from the beginning.
Responding to the needs of the 21st century student, Colorado Mountain College is undergoing a transformation of the campus infrastructure while staying true to our vision: to be the most inclusive and innovative student-centered college in the nation, elevating the economic, social, cultural and environmental vitality of our beautiful Roaring Fork Valley.
The Promise of Spring Valley is a $5 million capital campaign built upon the legacy of the original land donors and provides for the next generations of CMC students and the surrounding community.
