Colorado Mountain College is a comprehensive, property tax-supported, district community college that also grants bachelor’s degrees. Through its 11 learning locations grouped into seven physical campuses, as well as via distance learning, CMC serves the educational needs of a population spread across 12,000 square miles of the picturesque north-central Colorado Rocky Mountains.

In 2012, the College was named by as one of the nation’s Top 20 community colleges in achieving student success. In 2013, the U.S. Department of Education ranked Colorado Mountain College as the country’s third most affordable public college offering bachelor’s degrees.
