Tutoring Schedule for CMC in Spring Valley and Glenwood Springs

Tutoring is free and no appointment is necessary. Sessions are open to all students attending CMC in Carbondale, Glenwood Springs and Spring Valley. New this semester is an online tutoring resource that is also free (details below). For any questions, please contact:

Spring Valley

Tutoring is held in the Alpine Computer Lab of the Calaway Building at Spring Valley.

Glenwood Springs

Tutoring will be held in the Learning Lab of the Glenwood Center on the following schedule for Summer 2017:

These hours will run May 22-August 11th, 2017

Tuesday and Wednesday
Math: 4:00pm – 5:50pm

Online Tutoring

There is also an online resource called SmartThinking that allows students to receive hours of online tutoring, anywhere, at no cost. There are many courses in which help is offered, including Math, Writing, A&P, Bio, Chem, Econ, Accounting, Statistics, and several more.

All students registered for a credit course will have a SmartThinking account created.

Your username will be your CMC WebAdvisor ID. For most students, this is your first initial followed by last name. It is the same as the first portion of your CMC email address (the part before the @).

Your password will be “cmc” plus the last six digits of your Social Security number (for example “cmc123456”).


Exams may be proctored at the above locations and and times. Please email jszucs@coloradomtn.edu at least 48 hours in advance of your desired exam time to arrange a proctored examination.
