Choose from personal enrichment, transfer-level, workforce, ESL/HSD, concurrent enrollment, and career classes, serving the Aspen and Basalt communities

CMC Aspen is a welcoming community campus that serves both traditional and non-traditional students.  Whether you're earning a degree or certificate, exploring college credit while in high school, learning English, completing your high school diploma, or taking a class just for fun, you'll find courses to match your goals.

Classes take place in "smart rooms", fitness studios, and art studios/labs, including:

  • State-of-the-art Morgridge teaching kitchen
  • Contemporary ceramic studio for throwing, glazing, and firing
  • Metal working and jewelry lab
  • Fabrication, printing, and production equipment in the Isaacson School
  • Soft Goods Manufacturing workshop
  • Fitness Studio, providing a holistic approach to health and wellness

The Aspen campus is also home to the CMC Aspen Art Gallery, where students and community members can engage with rotating exhibitions, artist talks, and gallery receptions throughout the year.

Through our Fire Science program, students train with the latest equipment and techniques used in the field, preparing for real-world careers that protect and serve our mountain communities.

While the Aspen campus does not offer on-campus housing, students have the option to live at the nearby Spring Valley campus, just a short drive away.

Surrounded by world-class recreation, including nearby Aspen/Snowmass Resort, the Aspen campus offers an exceptional setting for learning and growth. Our instructional programs are designed to be both high-quality and hands-on, helping students gain real-world skills in a truly inspiring place.
