Colorado Mountain College Central Services
CMC's downtown Glenwood Springs home for administration and support of all of its campuses
CMC Central Services, at the base the Grand Avenue Bridge, downtown, Glenwood Springs, provides office space for 80 employees including the President's office. Departments, listed below, provide support and administration for CMC's three residential and eight commuter campuses.
The multi-story building — two buildings joined by walkways and an atrium — was purchased form U.S. Bank in 2011. A video camera on the building's roof was often viewed online during the Grand Avenue Bridge construction and the 2020 Grizzly Creek fire in nearby Glenwood Canyon.
Classes at Central Services
Classes will be held at Central Service for the first time in the 2021 Summer semester. [More information?]
CMC President Dr. Carrie Besnette Hauser leads this innovative dual-mission college with over 100 faculty and ??? staff serving some 15,000 students annually. From the Central Services offices — and on the road throughout the district — Dr. Hauser and the senior team provide support, oversight and direction for CMC's 11 campuses and locations.
