The greatest asset that I will continue to carry from this class and beyond is the knowledge that there are many, many dedicated members of my community who work to make this community better. I am so proud to call Summit County my home.” -Grant McKay, Recreation Programs Manager for the Town of Frisco

  • Reflection and Check-in: Participants break into small groups and discuss their utilization of knowledge and skills acquired through Leadership Summit. This provides opportunities to discuss real-life situations, gather feedback from peers, and create action plans for next steps.
  • Guest Trainers: Leadership experts from different organizations and locations will facilitate content focused on contemporary leadership topics including Values-based Leadership, Conscious Leadership, Change Management, Situational Leadership, Building Effective Teams, etc. These sessions are interactive and activity based.
  • Topical Panels: 3-4 local leaders join a panel to discuss critical issues in our community including Public Safety, Healthcare, Economic Development, Housing, Education, etc. Typically, seven out of nine sessions have topical panels.
