CMC Students/First Time Login

USERNAME: use your CMC User Name

If you have already accessed Basecamp in previous semesters, continue to use the same username and password.

CMC Faculty and Staff

This is the same as logging onto a CMC computer or Basecamp.

Student Email Access

Student email is inside Basecamp, the CMC portal for students, faculty and staff. See the Basecamp Access instructions above.

Then, on your student homepage, scroll down to "Access Your CMC Email From Here" to access your student email.

Canvas Access

Canvas is used for online class content, including saved lectures and online courses.

Workday Access

Beginning Fall 2026, Workday becomes your main system for class registration, degree tracking, financial aid, student records, paying your bill, and more.

Student Login

    1. Go to Student Workday
    2. At Sign In, enter your CMC email address and click Next.

    3. At Enter Password: Enter your password, click Sign in or click 'Forgot my password'.

Self-Service Access

Starting Fall 2026, Students will use Workday instead of Self-Service. 

Self-Service was used for registering for classes and other college functions including accepting or rejecting your financial aid awards, grades, access 1098T form, etc. prior to Fall 2026.

Student Login

    1. Go to Student Self-Service
    2. At Sign In, enter your CMC email address and click Next.

    3. At Enter Password: Enter your password, click Sign in or click 'Forgot my password'.
