I have taught at children’s mini college since 2002. In June 2010, I became Director. My first experience with the preschool was in 1992 when I enrolled my daughter at Children’s Mini College and have loved this school ever since. I have a BA in Therapeutic Recreation from College of St. Mary’s in Omaha, Neb. Before starting at Children’s Mini College, I operated a Large Family-after-School program for nine years out of my home.

Although I have worked with people of all ages, I find myself drawn to young children’s creativity and curiosity. Preschoolers have an authentic, unfiltered perspective that gives me pause and challenges me to think outside “the box.” Students, parents and teachers are on a learning path together and I love the journey that these paths take us on.

I have always been proud of my association with this wonderful school and have enthusiastically embraced the play-based philosophy at Children’s Mini College. It is a privilege to work and collaborate with the creative teachers at our preschool.

I have lived in Glenwood Springs with my husband Pete for 36 years. I enjoy hiking, biking, gardening, camping and cooking!
