CMC provides all textbook, digital, and custom materials at an affordable all-inclusive flat rate fee ($26/credit) for participating credit courses. The Learning Materials Program is a library-like lease system and students receive 100% of the required materials by the first day of the semester or within the first week, depending on when registration occurred.

Create an herbalist's handmade journal composed of detailed plant information, with a focus on edible, medicinal and local plants that are found wild in the RF Valley, or can be easily grown here. This is a more advanced level class where students will weave a 19" wide by 16" deep by 13" high 'Blanket Basket' on a 7' by 15' wooden slotted base, and with wooden handles. Design and create 2 unique kiln glass plates while learning the fundamental concepts of kiln glass. Students will make small sample tiles using a variety of sheet and accessory glass in the first class. In the second class, after evaluating the results from the fired sample tiles, students will make two 5' X 5' plates, which will be fired after the class and available for pick-up the following week.
