Professional Interests

I have a great passion for exploring the worlds of cuisine and culture in all their wondrous forms. Throughout my personal travels and professional career, I have had the pleasure of working in some of the most outstanding operations in San Francisco, London, Austin, Boulder, Dallas, Denver, and Steamboat Springs. Despite shifting from professional kitchen work, I actively seek out opportunities to learn and grow in a brilliant industry whose evolution never yields.

I believe in inspiring and nurturing the next generation of chefs to approach the hospitality industry with a blend of confident curiosity, gracious creativity, technical and theoretical competence, and a deep appreciation for the rich traditions of culinary leadership.

Personal Interests

When away from the kitchen and classroom, I enjoy photography, edible foraging, hunting, Drum & Bass music, snowboarding, and dual sport adventures. I'm also enthralled by the endless nuances and study of classical subjects such as psychology, philosophy, design, political science, and economics.
