As part of the build-up to the conjoined 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and Colorado’s own 150th anniversary celebrations, Colorado Mountain College’s Center for Civics Education & Empowerment is offering ways for community members to learn about and participate in modern governing.
CMC’s Vail Valley at Edwards campus is hosting a new civics lecture series. In addition, a local public television civics course is also available and will run from March through April.
