Admission Procedures at Colorado Mountain College

Applying for admission to Colorado Mountain College is easy and there is no application fee. Students who wish to take credit classes may be required to demonstrate proficiency in college level reading, English, and math prior to enrolling in college level courses.

New Students —”I have never attended college before”

  1. Go to Apply.Coloradomtn.edu to fill out and submit your application, or download and submit the admission application (pdf)
  2. Submit high school transcripts (only for students who have graduated within the last 5 years.)
  3. Take Accuplacer Placement Test
  4. Schedule advising appointment with a Student Services Counselor at a local  CMC campus
  5. Arrange financing to pay for classes

Transfer Student — “I am transferring from a college/university to CMC”

  1. Go to Apply.Coloradomtn.edu to fill out and submit your application, or download and submit the admission application (pdf)
  2. Have your previous institution(s) submit official college transcripts to CMC
  3. Schedule advising appointment with a Student Services Counselor at a CMC campus
  4. Arrange financing to pay for classes

Returning CMC Student —”I have not taken classes in over a year from CMC”

  1. Go to Apply.Coloradomtn.edu to fill out and submit your application, or download and submit the admission application (pdf)
  2. Schedule advising appointment with your Student Services Counselor
  3. Arrange financing to pay for classes

Continuing Education / Non-credit Classes

  1. Go to WebAdvisor/Continuing Education to search and register for continuing education/non-credit classes. Or you can download and complete the the Registration Drop/Add Form (pdf) submitting it and any course fees to your local CMC campus.
